Ticket Information:

This is an 18+ event. IDs will be required. Costume, formal attire, and masks are HIGHLY encouraged. Please see Terms & Conditions for more information.

Plus One tickets may NOT be purchased on their own. Every Plus One ticket needs to be linked to either a Gentle Fae or Inner Court ticket. Any Plus One ticket that is NOT linked to a Gentle Fae or Inner Court ticket will be canceled.

City of Starlight Ball Terms & Conditions:

The City of Starlight Ball hosted by Thyme & Tome Book Shoppe is an immersive, magical, safe experience for all who attend. By purchasing a ticket or attending The City of Starlight Ball (the "Event"), you (the "Attendee") agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

1. Admission and Tickets

Age Restriction: All attendees must be 18+ and present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. Must be 21+ to imbibe in spirits. ID is required for everyone! After all, fae are hundreds of years old looking 20. 😉

Ticket Validity: City of Starlight Ball tickets will be hard to fake. Don't try. If anyone attempts to enter the ball with a fake ticket, not only will admission be refused, but you will be banned from future events. No exceptions.

Private Event, Public Invitation: The City of Starlight Ball is a private event open to the public by ticket only. Management reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission.

No Refunds: All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be provided unless the event is canceled by organizers. This includes instances of removal due to disorderly conduct, failure to abide by these Terms & Conditions, early departure for ANY reason, and other reasons not listed here, at the discretion of Management.

Ticket Transferability: Tickets are transferable, but as the purchaser, you are REQUIRED to email Thyme & Tome Book Shoppe at thymeandtomefl@gmail.com to complete ticket transfer. Your ticket transfer is NOT complete until I respond with a confirmation email. Your email is required to have the following information: in the subject line, please write Ticket Transfer. In the body of your email, please include (1) your name and mailing address; (2) a copy of your original receipt from Shopify; (3) the name and mailing address of the individual(s) who bought your ticket(s); and (4) the transaction receipt between you and the individual(s). Failing to do so will result in ticket revocation for both parties and refunds will not be provided. Price gouging will not be tolerated. You are agreeing to sell the tickets for what you paid, including tax. However you want to take care of payment is between you and the individual (Venmo, PayPal, etc.), but it must be electronic to make it easier to show proof of payment/ticket transfer. Thyme & Tome Book Shoppe is NOT liable for monetary transactions between individuals. Please be aware of scammers and take caution when attempting to sell your ticket(s). If you have any doubt, please reach out to Thyme & Tome Book Shoppe on Facebook or via email and we will try to guide you to the best of our ability.

Cancelation: In the event The City of Starlight Ball is canceled, refunds will be issued within 7-10 business days (subject to your bank's refund timelines). The organizers, however, are not liable for other expenses including, but not limited to: attire costs, travel costs (including hotel, rental car, etc.), and any other costs incurred by you in preparation for The City of Starlight Ball.

2. Code of Conduct and Safety

Consent & Respect: Consent must be clear and enthusiastic. No touching other Attendees or photography without consent. Respect personal space.

Harassment Policy: Zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior, including disorderly conduct and intoxication. Violators will be removed without warning and without a refund. If you feel unsafe, please find a City of Starlight Ball volunteer immediately!

Weapons Policy: No real weapons. Prop weapons must be peace-tied or secured, blunt, and decorative only.

Prohibited Items: No outside food or drink, open flames, illegal substances, cannabis, or smoking/vaping allowed. You are allowed to step outside to smoke/vape, when needed. The Loft on Main (the "Venue") is over 100 years old. These items are STRICTLY prohibited to maintain the historical integrity of the venue.

No politics: Leave real-world politics at the door and focus on the fantasy.

No soliciting: Flyers, promotions, recruiting, and/or sales (outside of City of Starlight Ball vendors) is prohibited.

3. Dress Code

Attire: Because of the immersive nature of The City of Starlight Ball, costume, formal attire, and/or masks are HIGHLY encouraged. At minimum, business attire is required. For example, slacks and a collared button-up for the gents and a skirt and blouse for the ladies. No pajamas, work-out wear, etc.

Appropriateness: All attire must be PG-13 (as defined by organizers). No nudity, pasties, or lingerie.

4. Media and Photography

Consent to Recording: Attendees acknowledge they may be filmed or photographed. By attending, you give permission to the organizers to use your image and likeness in future marketing without compensation.

Personal Photography: Personal photos are allowed. The City of Starlight Ball will have a professional photographer ("Looking Glass Events & Photography") taking pictures of the event, as well as at a decorated space for posed pictures. Looking Glass Events & Photography retains full copyright ownership of all images from the moment they are created. Images will be available to download from Looking Glass Events & Photography Facebook page for free. However, if guests want a set of full size images without a logo, photos will be available via thumb drive for purchase. More information may be obtained by the photographer. For professional photography only: If Attendees have a personal privacy exception, please see the photographer during the event

5. Assumption of Risk and Liability

Assumption of Risk: Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with the event, including personal injury, property damage, and/or illness.

Release of Liability: The City of Starlight Ball organizers, venue, staff, and partners are released from any liability related to the event, including lost or stolen property.

6. Privacy and Data

Data Collection: Registration data, including identification, may be used for security vetting (e.g., sex offender registry check) to ensure a safe environment.

No Public Disclosure: Do not disclose personal details of other attendees outside the event.

By completing your purchase, you signify that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Thyme & Tome Book Shoppe reserves the right to alter, in any manner, these Terms & Conditions without advance knowledge of the Attendees. Effort to make Attendees aware of any changes will be made within 72 hours via email.
